Another new boy

Just bought a 56 plate Fabia vrs privately in Aberdeen and drove it back to London yesterday (3/10/10). I've never had a Skoda before and first impressions are very positive. We did 600 miles in mixed weather but mostly in heavy rain cruising around 80-90 mph where conditions allowed. Was gobsmacked by the indicated average of 61.5 mpg for the trip. Is this likely to be correct?

hi and welcome, dont hold me to this but unfortunatly ive read that the trip comp reading regards the mpg is likely to be around 15% out , but either way its still a decent return , i use it as a guide really and at the end of the day i know im saving compared to my old car emoticon-0148-yes.gif
