Columbus & DVD in Motion

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have a Columbus (refub unit) which I have been told is a Version C.

I however have no idea if that is true or not.

I was told it had firmware 2720.

I know it has DVD in motion which is great for kids and all.

I am wondering:

1. If I upgrade firmware to 2760 will i lose the DVD in motion?

2. How exactly do I find out what version I actually have.

Thanks in advance.

DVD in motion will remain until you upgrade to one of the so-called "factory" load firmwares, like 2680.

For version look at the part number on the top of the unit: 3C0 035 680 is version B, 3C0 035 680A - version C, but for refurbished unit with broken warranty seals these numbers can't be trusted.
