Visibility

Featured Replies

Got some miles up now, but one blindingly ( no pun intended) obvious fault is the very poor visilbity around the b-pillar area. Although I'm very satisfied with the complete package, a compromise has been made in style over function in the b-pillar. Pity, since rest of the car meets, and in many cases, exceeds everything I require, brilliant packaging & adaptability of interior spaces.

I don't have a spare, just the tube of "gunk" and a compressor, anyone know of a suitable replacement steel or alloy to replace the 17" alloys, something that won't break the piggy-bank? Would love to have a couple of spares for the front for when the winter descends up here in the frozen north.

Cheers the noo from the glorious Scottish Borders.

Never found visiblity a problem. Perhaps it helps being a short Welshman.

SWMBO actually says it is better than the Freelander.

How about a set of 4 16" skoda steel wheels and some winter tyres. You could keep a 17" in the car as a spare in an emergency.

There has been loads of discussions on winter tyres, see The Plumbers rim & tyre guide and another current thread on winter tyres.
