European Yeti 170 (CFJA)

Featured Replies

Just downloaded Skoda Germany's latest guide on tyre specifications My link and noticed with the introduction of the new CFJA TDI 170 engine (from WK22/10) there has also been a change to the speed rating for the 215/60 R16 tyre size from 95H (previous CEGA 170) to 95W.

Regards,

TP

The tyre point is interesting but as someone whose car isn't being built until early next year (and therefore will get the CFJA engine) I'm more interested in what changes if any the new identifier will bring to the engine or engine management. Higher rated tyres suggest a wee increase in power or top end speed possibly? Further improved economy perhaps?. Is there any further info available on this element TP?

Edit, just realised from the build week that this engine has been out for a few weeks and is not 'coming soon'. Same questions apply though - Do we know what the latest engine offers over the CEGA that preceded it?
