Yeti arrived with added bonus!

Featured Replies

I've just been on the phone to our dealer arranging to collect our TDI 140 SE on Saturday (yippee!). He's informed me that owing to a supplier's inability to meet the demand for certain components (now where have I heard that before?), our Yeti has arrived equipped with Annapurna alloys rather than the default Dolomites. I'm pleased about this because I prefer the look of the Annapurnas but it suggests that it's not only a lack of sunroofs that's causing Yeti waiting times to get longer and longer. Thought people on the forum (especially those taking delivery of a SE in the near future) might be interested to hear about this.

You lucky "person".I had to pay £85 for those on my order.Just to wind the rest of you up,several years ago I bought a new heavily discounted corsa 1.3 cdti for my son.My dealer phoned with good /bad news. The bad news was the dealership had sold the only car to someone else. The good news .I could have ,for the same price ,a limited addition model with better spec and........... a panoramic sun roof.I grudgingly accepted

I handed over my first DSG TDI Yeti this morning which also had the Annapurna alloys fitted, came as a nice suprise for the owner!

Wonder if they have run out of spitzberg alloys lol

Hmmm... I do hope I don't get this surprise! I don't like the Annapurnas and prefer the Spitzbergs! Time will tell I guess.

Perhaps if they are short of 17" alloys they wouldn't mind supplying my SE with 16" alloys. :D

(Which is what I would have had if SUK allowed it.)

If they don't have enough Spitzbergs I want some of these 18" Superb babies!

Nice one.

When do you get to pick up your Yeti Dr Phibes?

Tomorrow! We ordered it on the 17th of July so it's only taken 12 weeks to get here which seems very good going compared to the horrific waits some other people in the forum are experiencing.

Look Forward to seeing the pics.

Yes Skoda can have my Dolomites back if they are willing to give me a set of Moon alloys and appropriate tyres. Mind they will need a slight refurb after the Elan Adventure :giggle:

I wish. It's filthy just going to and fro to work.

Sheila has said I have to clean it next week, before we take the caravan down to Cornwall for a weeks holiday.

My dealer tells me my 110 SE was finally built on Thursday and is now in transit - Here's hoping that they also have supply issues with the upholstery and it comes with and Annapurna's and leather! Happy Days...

Saw a 140 SE yesterday and that had the Annapurna alloys instead of the Dolomites.Seems to be quite a common fit at the moment.Prefer the Dolomites personaly.
