I bought a new GreenLine Estate in March this year and the drivers door sounds as if the window is open + it takes in water and causes condensation which requires fuel draining air con to control.

The garage looked at it once and they said it was ok - but it wasnt. We have had to get stroppy with them to look at it again - booked in on the 14th of October - they say its not a problem - thats why doors have drain holes in!

Anyone out there had similar problems?

Interesting you should say that. My new Fabia came out on 26th Feb (a sore point when it could have been a 10 plate not a 59)I keep checking that my windows are not open as I feel the same but not noticed any water leakage. My Mums is three years old and she kept getting water in and recently had the seals replaced . I had the number plate tightened yesterday and there seems to be less rumble now.

I just put the extra noise down finally to cheaper car = less well noise insulated
