Are there any planned updates for the Columbus system... such as allowing 7 digit postcodes, or full integration using either an iPhone 4...?

iphone 4 should now work in superbs delivered from now on.

7 digit postcodes, who knows if an when it will be available. Dont miss it though, as its an easy system to use.

There was a response from VAG on the whole postcode thing and basically, the UK is out of step with everywhere else and it would be a massive job to change it.

I now just buy the most basic built-in audio and put a Kenwood DNX unit in instead. You get the newest Garmin maps, Parrot Bluetooth phone and the whole audio package is more flexible. And if it's still current when you change cars, you just pull it and put it in the new car.
