Im an Octavia owner but my Grandad put in an order for a 1.2TSFI back in September, 20th ish. AFAIK he was given a delivery rate around end of Nov/start of December. Are these reasonable or are there any delays around? Just want to give him a bit of a realistic heads up!

Sounds a bit optimistic. Can depend on which engine and extras have been specced. Mine will take 4/5 months.

Sorry, but that does sound optimistic.

I ordered my Yeti in early August and the latest I've heard is that the estimated build week is 47, which would mean I should get it before Xmas. An order placed around 5-6 weeks later is looking at delivery in late January or even early February.

I don't suppose he ordered a sunroof....?

Sounds optimistic, I was quoted 14-16 weeks when I ordered at the beginning of July. This time-frame seems to be holding true for a fairly standard build without too many extras.

I've just looked at my order for a "SK YETI DIESEL ESTATE 2.0 TDI CR [170] Elegance 4x4 5dr " in Pacific Blue with extra speakers & rough road pack through a leasing company placed on 28/06/2010 (over 15 weeks ago now) and the stock date expected is unchanged at 29/10/2010. Expected date for delivery after stock date is another 10 days so that'll be 8/11/2010 making about 20 weeks from order to delivery in total.

Delivery has been pulled forward as the lease company have now given me a delivery date for next Wednesday for a car that I guess must exist as I have been given a car reg number & corresponding fuel card.

Order (end of June) to delivery next week will therefore have been about 18 weeks.
