Estate boot "edge"

Featured Replies

I have a question regarding the Skoda Superb Estate and the boot "edge". Sorry but I'm not sure what it is called in english, but hopefully it is understandable :-) When using dog crate in Fabia or Octavia the edge is very high so it makes it hard to open the door if you do not have the crate sideways, since it blocks the crate door. On the superb this edge seems to be lower, but how low? Do anyone know how many centimetres it is?

I know I can buy the pull out floor to get a totally flat floor, but I was curious if this was necessary or not.

Thanks.

Some useful info on net car show.com, specifically what you were asking about the height of the loading lip from the ground:

The low loading sill, a mere 600 mm above the ground, makes handling baggage easy.

Some good photos on the site here:

In sweden the raised boot floor is standard on the combi. Maybe it is in Norway to?
