This noise occurs when I go over 80 km/h. It comes from the right rear wheel. What could it be? You also have to drive for 10 minutes before the noise starts.

Which Octavia Scout would you choose?

I'm looking at buying an Octavia scout. One is a 2010 model costing £5500 with nearly 100k miles on the clock. It's very tidy and straight. The other is an ex NHS doctor car on a 19 plate with 46k miles on the clock costing £9999. As it has been effectively an emergency car, it has a few holes in panels where a radio has been and other holes in the boot panels for heaven knows what. Which one would you buy? I think I'm going to toss a coin.

Hi all, I am Michael, I'm old enough to know better and I live in Stourbridge. I am the proud owner of a 2004 Skoda Fabia Mk1 Estate with the 1.2 HTP engine where the previous owner was a fan of parking by feel, and deaf considering the absolute drone the exhaust is giving right now. Before jacking up the car remove centre cap on offside front wheel and using a 36mm normal socket (not 4 wall drive) and extension bar for leverage loosen the main drive nut, Loosen road wheel bolts and jack up the car and support on axle stands with enough room to get under car, Remove wheel and plastic wheel arch liner (torx T20) and engine under tray, Remove plastic inner CV joint cover 2x16mm bolts, Disconnect negative lead off battery (g

Hi, I have just bought a 2023 Karoq auto but am disappointed to find the car does not creep to allow for slow movement parking.Yes I know, I should have checked during the test drive. Is there a setting I have missed? I have read we can cause damage to the clutches if we use the brake to "creep". Is that correct? Also, my 12 year old Mercedes auto will hold the car on a hill, perhaps on a queue of traffic, by pressing the HOLD feature but the Karoq will need the Auto stop feature turned on.
