I can't seem to get my Ariel off my octy mrk1 any ideas it screws all the way bar the last part.

A search for aerial would probably help but in short, give it a good tug, it's tamper proof and will pop off.

You have to tug pretty hard. But it will come off, trust me

I tried on Sunday but it felt like I was going to pull the Ariel and the base off aswell! The new one is smaller to replace the corroded one that's on

Easiest way I found was to unscrew and have it parallel with the roof, then pull it away from the base. The last one I did came off without too much trouble doing it that way.

What have you replaced it with anyway?

A smaller version due to the base of the current one starting to corrode
