I know I am being a complete dummy, but I can't find the diagnostic plug on my car-2006 1.9pd estate. Before I start ripping panels off, can somebody save me some time?

You should find it under the very right hand side of the dash, above the accelerator & bonnet pull. No dismantling required!!! :thumbup:
