I am waiting on Sheldons to get my Winter tyres in Had them on order for about a month now (Vredesteins Wintracs)

Remember your post (Sedici wasn't it?) used Sheldons for years and respect their expertise. Vredesteins are on my list as are Goodyear Vectors and Nokians. We shall see.

Not sure if it is ‘all’ Vredesteins, but they said they were expecting them in at the end of the month.

I had Sheldons put on Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on my Alfa GTA, first time on Vredestein and they replaced Bridgestone RE050's. The Vredestein's were a revelation, far better in the wet and much quieter on the motorway.

On the basis of that I have no hesitation in giving them the nod.

I really feel your excitement, as I picked mine up last Friday. I really do feel like an adolescent again, and you will too, I am sure. For years I owned Land Rovers, the real ones, ending up with a variety of Discoveries. Owners of all these invariably acknowledge each other on the road, if possible - and it is great to feel part of a community like that. Yeti owners are a no less exclusive bunch of enthusiasts, at this time at least, and I was delighted today, after three days of ownership, to have a raised hand from another Yeti driver - I do hope I reacted quickly enough for him to see my acknowledgement .

:wonder:I sat in it last night, still grubby (on the outside) covered in tape and with blue bits of foam stuck on here there and everywhere but boy was I a happy bunny.

Did all the 7 day free insurance mullarkey and also got offered a 3 year maintenance plan (£17 a month) don't know what to do about that, would make it cheaper to service than the smart (horrific for its size!) but more expensive than a 3.2 litre Alfa, hmmmm :wonder:
