Hi everyone. Just bought my first Skoda its a 2000 Felicia 1.3 mpi, 50k. First job is to do the rattling timing chain and sort the floppy gearstick. Previously had Vauxhalls and Fords but now i only need a cheap to run reliable car and the Felicia seems to meet the requirement. Cheers all

Thanks for the welcomes. Just finished doing the timing chain. Nice and quiet now. Next job gear selector shaft oil seal and a new roll pin to get rid of the gearstick free play. Really easy car to work on and cheap for parts.

Not as easy as my Dads Estelles he had 3, I have seen flats in London with less room,<engine bay>
