My petrol vRS was due to built during last week (42), can anyone tell me what the process and timeline is for the next 4-5 weeks until delivery....

Usually shipped by train from factory to Emden (Port) sits on dockside for 2 weeks awaiting space on a ship, loaded on ship, sails to port in your country, unloaded sent to dealer. Dealer takes approx a week to carry out PID. Car is all yours. Will probably take 3-4 weeks

My build week was 40 and I pick the car up on Thursday :-)

Mine was week 41, so now just waiting for the call from the dealer.

A correction to timescale above.

Once car arrives at Emden, it is loaded onto 1st available space on a ship bound for UK ( This can be up to 2 weeks during very busy period) & if youre very lucky a couple of days at the port.
