Pollen Filter Change

Featured Replies

Just wondering where it is sited and is there a link to show how it is done.

Thinking about my old Passat where it was very difficult to reach and if the seals were defective than water leaked out causing the expensive demise of electronic control modules in the foorwell. It happened to me. Just changed the filter in SWMBO Getz and wondering if it is a DIY proposition?

It's just above the front passenger's feet and is only a 5 minute job. Undo the thumbscrew thingys securing the carpet, slide the plastic cover panel to one side and pull out the filter. Fitting is reverse of above.

I've heard that one before!emoticon-0114-dull.gif It took me some time to realise that you'd to yank the dashboard out a bit for the pollen filter cover to reseat in the Getz.

Thanks for the reply. If the filter is as described I hope there is no water problem.
