hi all,

i had a coil pack fail as i left work the other night and the nice AA man ( cheers mick ) replaced a coil pack for me now seeing as only 1 was replaced are the rest prone to failing and should i just change the rest before they do ?

Blew 3 on one of my 20v engines, and 1 in another.

The Hitachi ones are supposed to be the best, but how you get hold of specifically a hitachi one, I don't know :S ...

lol .. yeah finding something specific can be a pain ... that what id prob do m8 .... just that ive had the car since it was a year old and its now done 117,000 ( 2003 ) .. so i know thay have never been changed at all .... was wondering if it just better to change now instead of waiting to save some grief

The ones you put in might go wrong before the ones you've taken out would have done

They seem to be very random in the failure characteristics.
