is it a must to use a press to extract a front w/bearing? i got a second hand hub after finding slide bolt hole was stripped, only to find replacement hubs

wheel bearing was growling like a dog. so will i have to use a press to take it out & put my new T P S bearing in? Thanks.

Simple answer is yes - you need a press (no - you can't use a big hammer).

Yes you need a press & you will need a small grinder with a cutting disc on to cut the bearing race off the hub as you cant get a puller in due to the abs ring.
