Basic ICE revamp for Octavia mk1 - suggestions?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just wanted to beef up my stereo a bit, without breaking my rather limited bank, so thought about getting one of these:

Quite fancy the bluetooth connectivity for phone calls and I've heard the Sony systems sound good.

Also, thought about fitting Edge speakers front and rear.

Heard that these sound really good for the money.

Does anyone have any advice/criticism relating to my choices?

Also, I'm a bit unclear about speaker sizes - would the ED306s work in the front, and ED305s in the rear? And are there likely to be any problems with depth?

Also, finally, how do people rate Halfords for fitting? I'm not much use at that sort of thing, so probably wouldn't tackle it myself. Any other suggestions for fitting in or near Leeds?

Thanks muchly in advance for any advice!

I'd advise you give it a go yourself, seriously not much that can go wrong mate and not a hard task at all.
