DRL's again!

Featured Replies

My Octavia's DRL's did not function on delivery or even appear in the Maxidot's menu. They had to be activated via VCDS. Once performed, the function then appeared within the Maxidot menu for on/off control. Is it the same scenario with the Yeti or do they come ready activated on UK cars?

Hi Bassa,

yes the Yeti S, SE and Elegance defiantly have active DRL, you can select them on or off using the indicator stalk (described in the manual) or via Maxidot if fitted. Both these options work on my current 2009 SE.

Thanks for that, as far as I can make out Octavias are still arriving requiring DRL activation - rather strange.

Oh, bye the way, congratulations and welcome to the 'impatient' queue re your forthcoming acquisition. Good to know you want another, speaks volumes.
