Hi

I hear a strange sound when releasing clutch in 2nd gear, or just let the go of the accelerator at around 2000 revs. First I thought it was coming from the engine but I am more and more convinced it comes from behind. It sound like some kind of squeak, and it can be heard on higher revs too but than the engine is louder (being 2.0 140 PD ). It is there for only 1 second or so. It is the same with the engine being cold or hot.

My colleague suggested it was coming from some plastic part, and it makes sense because at 2000 revs engine makes a lot of vibrations........

Anyway, did anyone had this kind of problem?

I was afraid none would answer :( In more details it sounds like some kind of resonance......the sound ends up in high frequencie every time..it is a bit frustrating, as it is quite loud, even my SWMBO noticed
