It's almost been spoke about before but i would like some help and advise, I am thinking about getting some led front side light bulbs to complement my HID's on my octy 2 vrs 57 plate but dont want any probs with bulb warnings, Can i buy some normal 501 style led bulbs and is it poss to turn my bulb warning off (turn cold start diagnosis off using vagcom) if so how? or what is the alternative? any advise would be great Phil.

You'll need something like this My link. As long as they are canbus they will fit without triggering the bulb warning display. There's a lil more info in this post My link

most comments re even the the canbus ok versions are not good. LED and normal filament fittings dont mix well. They either heat up too much and consequently do damage or will blow within a couple of months...
