cloth seats

Featured Replies

Is there anyopne out there in the midlands area anyone can recommend for refurb the front seats trhey havent worn through yet but are looking slightly thing on the edge of the seat.

Thanks in advance

Before I decided to do it myself with some 'spare' covers I got from another member many years ago, I got quotes from various companies up my way, and the price difference between replacing the cloth trim and a full leather retrim was actually quite small. DIY isn't all that hard though (just time consuming), and if it's just the driver's seat base, it may be worth investigating the cost of just buying the seat base cover and doing it yourself, following this:

I dont think I could do it my self lol, so looking at getting a company out to do it if anyone can recommend them to me? The seat hasnt worn through yet, but the fabric on the edge near where your leg goes looks a bit ropey... would a seat cover help this? or would the 2 rub together and cause it to just knacker even more?
