Double din Fabia

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Looking at replacing the standard unit in my fabia with something a little nicer. Will any double-din fit in? What skoda headunits will fit? Does anyone have pics of their units or how the done it?

Thanks

Double din fits straight in, you need a trim piece for the top available from Skoda for a couple of quid.

Skoda units wise the sat nav MFD2 unit will fit, but tbh you can get alot better aftermarket.

I bought an eBay jobby! Touch screen, Freeview, MP3, Bluetooth, RDS Radio, DVD and Divx. The bit of trim at the top cost me about £3!

I think it looks pretty good!

Just the kind of Double Din unit I was looking for. Which Model did you buy and for how much?

Cheers.

Its a D2203D Eonon, only cost me £160. Pleased with the build quality and does everything I expect it to do. I've got an 8gb SD card which is full of music, videos etc which is plenty for me.

The freeview is also good, but when I'm driving along the signal isnt great on the Digital radio channels.

Worth every penny, I'd say!

Thanks for the info! Sounds a bargain for the price. Cheers.
