Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem, and if so what the solution is?

It tends to buz/rattle unless I hold my finger on the lock of the glovebox lid.

Any help is appreciated

its common i think mate,

i had it so put a strip of sticky sided foam along the top edge of the glovebox which has stopped it

I remember there are other solutions too so try a search (sometimes google is better way than the search box above).

I fixed mine without foam using advice on here but can't remember what I did!

fuzzy side of velcro by the latch sorted mine

Ha ha is this the only in cold wheater glove box rattle again

Cheers for the replies guys. I couldn't find anything specific after searching for about 20 minutes in the search bar!

It does seem to have only recently started with the cold weather!

Mine starts when it feels like it and always goes away when i have time to try and sort it out, it's like it's alive and knows!!!
