My vRS will be needing new discs and pads all round pretty soon, for now I'll be fitting standard discs, what make brake pads will be best to use??

The ones that are already on the car are a right pain as they let off so much dust in such a short space of time.

What do people recommend??

EBC discs with greenstuff pads are good for keeping your alloys clean, but do make the discs look a bit strange. They also need to warm up a bit before they start to work well. Lot of people don't like them because of that.

I've just fitted Pagid discs & pads to both of our cars & they give a really nice hard pedal, but at the expense of dust build up.

greenstuff are ok on lighter cars, but not rated to over 200bhp iirc, so not up to the task on the octy really. Red stuff are better but not as good as ds2500.

Pagid fast road pads used to be good but as said were dusty.

had ds2500 on my 396 bhp saff cossie worked well with 330 mm disks and ap 4 pots
