Just had the message from James at Allams to say that my Yeti is to be built next week. Its a 170 with all the toys, 20 weeks from order- not bad. Looks like Christmas might be early!! :yes:

Just got back from seeing James. Top bloke.

I too have a Reg. No. and a snow covered SM at Sheerness. Hopefully it will be at Allams early next week so I can get some work done. I did not enjoy driving the Polo out there today.

James will arrange for his workshop to fit the winter wheels which I took over today.

I will take a camera with me. Can't wait. This last wait is by far the worst bit, knowing it is made, having a VIN number and a Reg. No. and not having the keys in my pocket.

I know the feeling. But it goes very quickly. I had the advantage that I was stressing about privately selling my Audi until the Saturday before I got the Monster. So that did help get my mind off things!

Just remember to check that fuel flap before you set off!

Oh they fixed it on the day but in doing so broke the actual flap. It works now and nothing visible outside but inside there is a nib missing. They tried to swap it for their demo steel grey one when I went on Tuesday to pick the winter wheels up - but only realised after dismantling the demo that it was a PETROL and that it did not have the DIESEL ONLY sticker in the flap. Doh. So they will do this at a later stage.

Pat Monster Jr - the red urban 2WD Yeti and a year younger than the original - has arrived at Allams.

Postman Pat is waiting to take his place in the front, but we no longer have Jess - maybe a Yeti could replace Jess.

With luck we might be able to collect on Saturday - weather permitting.
