My local dealer has my Greenline II until ?

I was travelling down the M6 when I lost all power and the glow plug light started to flash, then the power came back but the glow plug kept flashing.

Managed to get to my destination, turned the car off and back on and no error, drove back OK. Spoke to my local dealer (not the dealer I got the car from) and got it booked in for a check - probably just a glitch.

They found a fault code never seen by them before (then again it's the first Greenline II they have seen, theirs are still on order) and the mechanic said the engine didn't sound correct to him and he has sent a sound clip of the engine to Skoda. Because they have not seen the fault before and it is to do with the engine just to be safe they did not want to give me the car back - I am presuming they know the fault code for the break light switch.

Now Skoda UK are paying for the hire of a Zafira until they have fixed the problem and I get me car back :S

Yep it's like having a bus to drive with the same sort of fuel economy.
