im so proud of my vrs now again after i was stuck on a57 for 3 days in my truck as seen on tv lol.. i then returned to work to find my car buried in snow.. after findind it and digging it free it started first time (glad i replaced heater plugs before tho). it then pulled its self free and i rallyed it home with eps off and its been working hard collectng family and nieghbours from all over ive never got stuck who needs 4x4s...

also whilst stuck on a57 in my truck what was the only car able to come thru..........an octi scout ambulance bring it on skoda.. proper showed up all bmws stuck made my day..SKODA KING OF THE SNOW..

Bit of a long shot here. I have very recently bought a 66 plate Superb estate, which came with a steel 16" spare in the boot. It also came with the foam insert and tool kit for the 18" wheel, which obviously doesn't work. Does anyone have the foam insert from an old 16" sat around that they would be prepared to sell? The garage I bought from were not the most helpful, and I don't think that is likely to change any time soon. Cheers in advance.

Hi everyone, I am looking for some insight regarding a fueling issue on my Skoda Octavia 3 RS (2.0 TSI, EA888 Gen 3, CHHA engine, 169kW). The car is currently running an APR Stage 2 tune (ECU + TCU). The issue first appeared right after flashing APR Stage 1 at around 74k km, and now at 86k km, it has become more frequent (sometimes 3x a day, sometimes it gives peace for 2 weeks). Hi, Our driver side window made a growly noise then wound itself all the way down, and is now stuck. We have removed the door panel and can't even lift the glass manually from the bottom. It will not move. I think we need to replace the window regulator, but it seems that we need the glass half up to remove it. (Need to line up the rubber bung with a slot in the regulator?) I just want the window shut for when this heatwave breaks and the rain returns. Then we can order and fit new parts later.

Not sure if this is linked to me fitting new shocks (see https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/489523-octavia-scout-mk3-rear-suspension/ for details – did go stiffer for towing) or wheel alignment or something weird going on with the Haldex but my Scout has a mildly disconcerting bounce/lurch at times. Particularly when on left hand curves. Does anyone know what I should be checking? The garage have checked and told me everything is where it should be and all bolts etc torque'd. Have I just upse
