Hi everyone, just wondering if anybody knows the answer to the following question as some kind soul colided with my drivers side wing mirror cracking the glass and the casing. Just wanted to order the glass before MOT on Wednesday (will look at the casing after winter), and at last to my question..

This may sound a stupid question but please bear with me. What colour is the drivers side wing mirror glass on a 2001 Octy Vrs? Please don't laugh, i'm not blind or anything (no offense meant to any of briskoda's visually impaired members, you probably still have cheaper insurance than me, due to my dearest).. My beloved wife drivers the car during the day, i'm going to work when its dark, get home when its dark and don't think i'd be able to tell the subtley of a blue tint via torchlight, bearing in mind its going for an MOT on Wedneday.

am i wrong in saying it could be blue? its just i've seen clear/heated and blue tinted/heated replacements on the web, i would guess it was blue tinted but if anyone knows would appreciate you posting on this topic.

Oh, also has anyone changed the casing and/or the mirror (i presume the mirror will clip off?), sorry not seen the condition as im at work and its only happened today.

Mk1 Octy vrs glass is blue tinted and also heated.
