What is it ?

Featured Replies

In the Retailer Supplied Accessories section of the current brochure there is a listed item, quote - " Boot hover - part number DMK630001 - £21 RRP."

Any clues as to what the devil this item is ?

It's a boot cover, between the rear seats and the boot.

Product Details: Made of washable and waterproof material, this cover fills the gap between the rear parcel shelf and rear seats and allows for the seats to be moved back and forth. Fastened using velcro fasteners (supplied) this cover is not designed for transporting heavy items

Thanks for your clarification - a brochure misprint no doubt ie. hover = cover.

No problem!

I recon this should be standard!

I've ordered them and they were installed when I got the car. They are noisy too... So not sure how long I'm going to keep them in!

Are they noisy because they 'hover'

Seems when it comes to brochure errors, this 'hover' thing is only the tip of the iceberg.

Dear oh dear, SUK really should do better.

Does the Elegance have standard power fold mirrors - oh no, sorry we've been there before if memory serves me right. :giggle:

Now, RRP & wheel arch film.................................................. can of worms!

I would have thought that Skoda would have sorted this by now it was one of the first things I noticed when I got my Roomster. I'd hoped it would have been fixed on the Yeti. :(

I have to agree.

What I would like but haven't seen is some form of removable bulkhead behind the centre rear seat so that if you wanted to fold the centre seat down to use the armrests/drinks holders you don't have a hole straight through to the boot.

Quite like the look of the under-shelf cargo net.

So did I - but in reality it's a sleeve that fits over the parcel shelf and you're left with a very unsightly black cover over the velour upper face of the parcel shelf - designed by a visually challenged person in the dark, I think?

Did wonder how it was fitted. The underside looks ok in the thumbnail image above can anyone provide an image showing what it looks like on top of the shelf?

If it's like you say, sounds a bit naff.

I wouldn't Bover with this Hover that's really meant to be a Cover :giggle:

These pics I saved from somewhere so they are not of mine. I have this parcel shelf net fitted and have no issues with what it looks like from above. See attached. It looks the same black to me as the rest of my interior.

Johann Thanks for that, doesn't look too bad, but would like to see one in the flesh I think.

PM me an address - I'll post you mine to try - seeing as it's very unlikely I'll use it .....

Post it back when I've convinced you ;)
