Hi,does anyone know how to fix MDAC(Microsoft data access components)corupt files without having to re-install windows:eek:?

I've tried installing the latest version 2.8 but an application(dan ewells broadband speed test)keeps saying the files are corupt and won't work without them:mad:.

Incidentally the program has been working fine now for 3 months,just today it decided to throw a wobly.

Thanks alot the information in the microsoft article has fixed things,just had to close all apps before running the mdac.exe.Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction:thumbup:
