Hello evereyone,

Not long bought my second Octavia, a L&K combi. Previously had a 1999 tdi since new and covered 200 000 miles. The moter was brilliant. Last trip was 5000 miles round Franc and Germany. 80+ on Autobahn and overal consumption of 54mph (according to computer). Suspension was starting to get very wallowy, brakes faded badly in the Alps, not the best place to find out when there is still 100 mile of mountain to go.

After just the occasional look here in the past have now subscribed and intend to "do it properly", and ask before I rootle about in things I don't know ie CANbus.
