No chance on a REVO 1 more like 200 - 206 BHP, they are being optimistic a little.

some cars has got 210 BHP but that was with cat back exhaust.

I have REVO 2 and making around 226 bhp

What you will notice is the increase in torque which it the important one, and that will bring a smile on your face...

my clutch has done 130,000 which a REVO 2 and lots of bolt on mods so you should be ok.

yep 210 max mate, the difference is night and day though and worth every penny. Is it going on the rollers? If so they might identify a few issues such as N75 or the MAF being off par. Enjoy mate.

My car with only a Stage 1 Revo and cat back exhaust decided to eat its clutch a couple of weeks ago at just 87k ;)

It also munched through its original coil packs soon after getting it done (first one went pop the first time I nailed it!)

and 220bhp... no chance. 200 to 210 IMO.

OK all the negatives out of the way, you will love it! It pulls so hard from relatively low revs and will make things disappear into a spec in the rear view mirror very quickly :D

Its not going on the rollers, although it will in the new year sometime.

Just out of curisoty, how hard is it to get to 300bhp? And at what cost?

Im an engineer so i can rebuild the engine myself,I rebuild cylinder heads but can get rebores, crank grinds ect done cheaper by colleagues. So how much for just the parts? And what would i need? Where is the best place to source parts?

Joe

for 300bhp

you will need uprated rods about £300 fit them yourself

then k04 hybrid + all bits for it to work

can be done for around 3 to 4k

Whats a ko4 hybrid? (i know its a turbo lol)

Which rods and where can i get them?

Joe

the k03s bigger brother lol

lots of places do rods ( intergrated engineering are good you need 144mm 19mm wrist pin)

look on seatcupra.net under section badger5 there is loads on both k03s hybrid and k04 hybrid

Ok cheers, so would a k04 be better than a k03 hybrid?

a k04 hybid will be power wise

but you then have to think about big brakes uprated suspension uprated gearbox and diff

power wise there seeing 320+ bhp

to do it from scratch i would estimates 6k as a min for that power

you also have to remeber uprated parts doesnt mean more reliable
