I have managed to find two not very good pictures of the grey and red sports seats on Skoda's Czech site, but can't decide which would look better in a white Yeti.

I quite liked the sound of red, but from the looks of it, it's more like burgundy which is a bit dull. Which would you prefer?

I personally think red coloured seats would look out of place.

With white everything about the Yeti is a total contrast, white paint work - black trim.

Adding red coloured seats would certainly look different but would spoil to symmetry.

I agree that a red interior would not sit happily with orange paintwork. Also, that orange would be a real turn-off for buyers when I come to resell in 1-2 years' time.

When I saw 'red sports seats' in the French brochure, I was kind of hoping for something like the Panda 4x4 I used to have:

but when I came across the dark red on the Yeti I was a bit disappointed. If anyone can root out some better photos of the 'red' sports seats, I'd be very grateful.

Well, here in France they are €310 extra. They are not compatible with leather, but that doesn't bother me as VAG leather is poor quality and very expensive.

I have just noticed that the two pics I posted above are actually the same picture PhotoShopped. Look at the folds in the gear shift gaiter - identical!

Maybe the red is a bit brighter in real life?

A 'real-life' photo would be great, if anyone can find one.

It depends if you would like to make a statement: the white yeti and the red sports seats looks very nice! and not so common.

If you're practical: take the grey one and at the time you'll change the car maybe a little more trade in value.

I thought we were talking about a strong red, the red on the pictures is barely noticeable now I have looked again. I have the "blue" seats in my Yeti and they are barely there either. A shame really as a red in the style of the picture further down would be more of a statement. In all honesty I don't think it matters too much as the difference is negligible, what a shame.

Hmm, I imagine the 'red' would be the same then. As you say, it's a shame: the Yeti is a funky car and they should have gone with livlier colours, IMHO, at least offer them to those who want them (like me).

I agree about the resale comment: the red seats will probably be a bigger problem to sell on than boring grey ones.

It seems that red is getting more of your votes, which I'm actually quite surprised about.

I don't know if I will be able to get either now as the sports seats option didn't appear on my dealer's screen yesterday. I have rung Skoda France and they are going to investigate. I hope they haven't deleted the option
