James at Allams

Hi all - I had occasion to go down to the Epsom area today - and give the beasty a run - and met and shook hands with James. It was a very great pleasure, and he was as helpful in answering my many questions as I knew he would be. When beasty comes up for moving on, I know where I will be going... thanks James, great to meet youemoticon-0148-yes.gif

That'll be why James was busy when I rang to tell him where I've got to with winter steelies - Vredesteins ordered from Performance Alloys (thanks, TP emoticon-0144-nod.gif ), wheels and trims ordered from Allams - bring on the snow (soon...)!

Glad that link got you sorted for winters :)

Nice to meet you too! Hopefully our pathes will cross again in the future.

I am sure they will (when I need a new one of not before), and thanks again for the help! I am wondering whose that nice looking tangerine 4x4 waiting outside was - someone here? It's a striking colour, no doubt!

For anyone planning to get down to Allams from the North - I come down the A1 - going back via the Dartford Tunnel was a bit further round the M25, but a whole lot quicker than via Heathrow, with the roadworks that have been in place since the ice age. I did a fair bit of 'congestion crawling' and standing stationary, but the beasty recorded about 48 MPG for my 180 mile or so round trip from Beds. So that was quite pleasing, although as yet I am not sure how that relates to reality!
