I've been using this forum as a great source of information over the past couple of weeks and decided to join up, I'm in the market for a facelift Octavia CR TDI vRS to replace the aging 320d that has served me well on the daily commute. I'm based in Dublin, there doesn't appear to b a great choice of cars in Ireland at this point in time and I may well travel to the UK to pick up the right car. My preference is a 2010 DSG model (if I can get over the 50% upshift in Irish motor tax), my weekly motorway commute is about 500 miles a week and I reckon the DSG is probably the best option in this regard. Race blue paintwork, xenons and Maxidot would finish it off nicely - I've a budget of about £17k, is this spec achievable at this price point?
