Hi All,

Was wondering, which turbo does the octavia 4x4 come fitted with (is it the "S" turbo, or the same one fitted to the 150bhp golfs)? Is this something I should be concerned about when buying?

I ask with a view to tuning potential, which I intend to take as far as a remap (so none of the fancy/expensive new intercoolers etc).

I know that the 4x4 comes with the engine in 150bhp rather than 180bhp.

it is the K03S so maps to 210ish stage 1

I Think that the very early 4x4 came with a K03 turbo (150 BHP ) and then the later ones post 2001 all came with a K03s (180 BHP) same as the Octy VRS. So no reason why a post 2001 Octy 4x4 can't make same BHP as a VRS or likewise same improvements with a remap.

I thought the 4x4 was 2001+ anyway?
