Hi,

Its been a long time since I have done my own wiring in the car and must admit I am a bit rusty.

Ok, so I have a Blaupunkt santa cruz MP36 head unit, with an adaptor from halfords to plug into the cars audio wiring.

I am fitting a sub and an amp, the thing is, off the amp runs a remote on wire i think it is, which I think goes to the switchable live on the car stereo, but what wire is it? Or where would I connect it, I have 4 wires going into the stereo supplying power but I dont know which one I would connect to.

Sorry if that sounded long winded.

In addition to my above question anyone know a good earth point in the boot (Octavia Mk1).
