Hi wondering if you guys can help, my brothers octavia vrs is currently showing two warning lights. The first one came on yesterday, its the Diesel fuel filter warning light. The second one came on today which is the glowplug warning light.

What could possibly be bringing both of these lights on? From what i have been told the car appears to be running ok

Maybe it needs the DPF regenerating.

Consult the owners manual for how to do this.

If not you will need to scan it with either VCDS or get a dealer to do it.

There may be a forum member near you who has VCDS who can help.

Get it warmed up then put it into 2nd gear and floor it for about a mile this should do a full re-gen if dpf fitted, let it idle for a few mins after then turn off and restart lights should now be off
