Hi All -- I'm a disabled driver from Ayrshire. Got my new Skoda Superb Combi Elegance DSG 170 hp CR Diesel in Aqua blue two weeks ago, and absolutely love it. I'm guessing it might be the only one in Ayrshire at the moment, unless of course, you know different !! -- Looks as though I've blown the fuse for headlamp washers already, as I tried to wipe the windscreen during that really frosty weather and now they just don't work. Will change fuse asap. Can I just ask please ?? -- what exactly is the Maxidot ?? -- I've trawled through the manual, but can't find any reference to it, and just wondered if I was missing a trick somewhere. Thanks in advance for any help, and look forward to keeping up to date on Briskoda.

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car. Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD.
