as above folks.. im looking for a bit of advice on a skoda octavia estate.. ive got a 2001 elegence estate which has a bent rear axle.

what rear axle fits? will one from a sallon fit?

AFAIK, every rear beam is the same, hatch or estate.

Apart from the 4x4 models, which use an independent rear suspension set up.

second hand beams might be bent too.... new ones cost **** loads from a dealer - iirc about £600 :S I think I was quoted.

yip im pretty sure its bent its been up on the ramp and checked over. my mate slid into a kerb with it during the bad weather.
