Has any one noticed....

Has any one noticed that on the new Fabia speedo it go's 60,70,80 then 100, 120, 140,160 but theyare all the same spacing? so there are 5 notches between 60 and 70 but also 5 notches between 100 and 120.

May just be because i have a vRS but would be interested to know :)

It does this on our Octavia vRS (57 reg) so wonder if they're now doing the same to the Fabias?

This is a newish thing that Skoda (and others) have introduced lately across the whole range.

have noticed that the whole interior seams much more similar to the golf than the polo!

The reasoning is that you get a greater movement of the needle for a given change of speed at the low speeds where speed limits are likely to apply.

Also the new Golfs are the same they go up in increments of 20mph after 80mph also the clocks do not display kmh! but i think it is shown in the electronic display otherwise VAG are making cars not mot passable LOL!

Not new at all. The Mk1 Fabia vRS is setup like this, and has been since it's 2003 introduction.

The reason is as Ken says above.

i think Its New to the golf

Always been like this

The mk4 and mk5 have increments of 10mph exept the mk5 gti and r32 which are 20 mph all the way around

, the mk6 has them in 10s up to 80 then 20s

i've have a polo and ibiza in the last 3 years (both new) and they both had 10mph incriments all the way round

hmmm must be a recent thing for the VWs then

New to VW and other bits of VAG maybe, not new to Skoda.

I noticed this too, must say I was starring at it for a while trying to figure it out lol.
