Someone please clear this up for me?

Featured Replies

So i tryed to order fk ak streetline coilovers for my fabia vrs and had no luck absolutely anywhere, i rang a company named topgear who said that they could do me a set of jamex for the same price instead, i asked if they were suitable for the vrs he said yes HOWEVER when going on there website and checking the item number i find these,

http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/Jamex_Coilover_Suspension_Kit_for_Skoda_Fabia.html

The ones i have on order are the second set down and in the title it doesnt say VRS it only saysn 1.9tdi etc.

Will this be a problem? Is the engine heavier? Most importantly, Are they suitable?

They have already put the delivery date back twice so i'm debating whether to just cancel the order completely.

I would be very grateful if someone could clear this up for me as i know jack about cars really i just buy parts and pay a mechanic to fit them :giggle:

Thanks

Nathan

Jamex are old skool suspension kit. Not sure actually! they are only just back on the market after being absent for about 10 years. Depends on the spring rating and poundage and if the sahocks can hald them. The VRS is technically a 1.9TDI, just a more powerful version! :)

oh i remember jamex from [as mentioned] 10 or more years ago in max power [when 15's were huge wheels and 17's had never been heard of of emoticon-0136-giggle.gif ! might be fine but i dont know tbh, but for £50ish more you can buy AP [made by kw] or even better if youve got £150 extra burning a hole then Weitec [also made by kw] emoticon-0148-yes.gif
