Today i was changing my trip computer to 0 after filling up with the ignition off i noticed if you pressed for more than 4 seconds it displayed how many more miles before next service and how many hours driven since last service e.g 7400 miles/260 hours. try it

Is that 260 hours or days left till your next service?

I think it's days, because as far as I was aware the Fabia doesn't have variable servicing does it?

Dealer told me that anyway, as they don't have the oil sensor like the Octavia.

Or was I told a porky? :D

It will be number of miles or days until next service, don't know if Fabias now have variable servicing, my old vRS never did. You can tell from the build sticker in the service book or next to the spare wheel well. QG1 is variable, QG0 is fixed annual or 10,000 miles.

You can do it any time the ignition is off not just when you are filling up.

No, I don't think it does only when the ignition is on.
