Outdoorshow: Yeti off road "experience"

Featured Replies

OH dear no... What a pathetic off-road display it was. It was one of the main reasons for going to the Outdoorshow/Bike Show at ExCel in London's Docklands but what a pathetic display. The Skoda stand was good with all the cars having bikes on their roofs - the stand being in the Bike Show area. But the off-road bit?!! It was not running and there were just two lone Yetis parked in the area. And where I was expecting some banked areas and and an up and over ramp section (or something akin to Land Rover's experience) all there was were two tiny ramps that my Mazda MX-5 would have managed!!! Anyone seeing this would have thought, oh yes, softroader only if THAT is all the poor car can manage. Awful and it gave completely the wrong impression of the car.

Oh yes and I forgot about these! A perfect (albeit VERY expensive) bicycle for your Yeti!

Ah that expensive title - to a poor person (me now emoticon-0136-giggle.gif) it is, but to a rich person, what's £2500 for a frame - a £6,000 bike, that whatemoticon-0140-rofl.gif.

Notice that they all have a velux roof and RHD; obviously the glass roof embargo does not apply to SUK itself emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif
