Wrecked rear bump stops.

Featured Replies

Noticed today that the rear bumpstops are wrecked. When i bought the car it was already lowered on eibach -25mm springs on standard shocks.Im guessing that its been resting on the bumpstops for a while. My question is, i have some new oem bumpstops but should i cut them to give a bit more travel or leave them as they are?

cut an inch of each..

cut an inch of each..

Thanks mate, thats what i thought! Cheers

Leave them alone IMHO, they do compress and are actually spring assisters by definition.

If you do have to cut them you will need to cut the middle out of them and bond them back together.
