i've got a dvd player which i want 2 go in the boot, but i obviously need to put a supply there, does anyone know of a tap off point close by? the player itself is only 150w. or how would i get a supply to the boot.

Please only post your question once. Have patience and people will answer.

If the DVD player is 12v, you'll have to run a fairly decent-sized power cable from the battery. Fuse it at the battery end and use a distribution block in the boot, also fused.

There's no point going to the hassle of running a power lead if you can't also use if for other stuff in the future, so don't skimp and start using cheap cables.

If you do a search you should be able to find a few posts by people who've run power back to the boot...
