opinions please?

Featured Replies

my bonnet has a few stone chips that have gone through the paint to the primer.i can get it painted, but i think i want to get it carbon wrapped along with the roof. go on laugh if you want to.what do you think,i know opinions are divided on this so dont hold back. also i want to get some 18s in a couple of months, something different,i like the look of fox fx5s in 18x8 or rota force drift series wheels in 18x8.5. anthracite for both of course being as my car is black. do any members have any other ideas as to what would look cool on the mk1 octy vrs? what would be the best tyre width for those wheel sizes,235/40/18 maybe?i dont to have any rubbing issues.

Would be interesting to see what it would look like with the bonnet and roof done. I say go for it there's no harm in having a go

Roof and bonnet wrap would be good , black or a different colour

mmm, as its on a black car it might look ok.

If you dont mind a harder ride, inferior handling, bad mpg and more noise in the cabin then 18" will be good. they do look sweet. I cant wait to get my car sorted and get back on to the spiders. the car handles miles better, better eco and is a lot quieter. Gonna use the 18" PR 1.2 for show I think.

225 40 18 tyres are what you after on 8" rims mate. get the best tyres you can afford too. Toyo t1R and Falken 452 get my vote. the 452 are a tad noisier and groove steer a bit but again thats with having 18" rims and 225 tyres.

bil

MMMMMMMMM you have now edited your post to show carbon wrap rather than vinyl not so sure would look good normal black bonnet with a matt black roof
