Radio Swing-MDI enabled?

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm about to buy a 2011 Octavia Combi (basic/classic model)

I believe it has the "Radio Swing" radio - what I want to check is if the Radio Swing has an MDI connector on the back of it?

If so, I'll probably buy the MDI connector cable so I can access songs on my USB memory stick.

Failing that, I'll have to take out the radio and install my DIN 1 Kenwood head unit (which has USB capability).

Does anyone know if the Radio Swing has an MDI connector?

and

Has anyone replaced the Radio Swing with a DIN 1 headunit ? - if so - was it a complex process?

Thanks

Fergal
